Sunday July 3rd 2011 Macmillan In Lincolnshire Yellowbellies Charity Event

At Faldingworth Memorial Hall, Faldingworth, Lincolnshire LN8 3SE

Click on the link to the right for a map Map Link http://www.bing.com/maps/?where1=LN8%203SE,GB&FORM=MMREDIR

Faldingworth Live and Lincolnshire Folk are jointly running this event and all proceeds will go to Macmillan In Lincolnshire, including all profits made from the Yellowbellies 3 CD, which will be launched by Les Worrall at this event, so be the first to get your hand's on it..

Sue Dewsbury and Mike Dewsbury will be Mistress & Master of Ceremonies

Schedule

2:30pm to 6:00pm - Lincolnshire Folk - £2 in the charity bucket

6:00pm to 7:00pm - BBQ - £3

7:00pm until 10:30pm - Ceilidh with the Liam Robinson Lincolnshire All Stars Ceilidh Band - Tickets £6

If you want to play in the Lincolnshire Folk event in the Afternoon or reserve a seat, then call Sue or Mike Dewsbury on 01427 838726.

Tickets for the Ceilidh for Payment on the night can be reserved through Les Worrall 01673 843036 or Dave Longden 01673 885369.

BBQ reservation through Les 01673 843036 or Dave 01673 885369. We need to have a decent idea of how many will want a BBQ as the meat will need to be ordered from the local butcher. The BBQ is at cost, so we don't want to lose money in that area.

Thanks go to Dave Longden, Les Worrall, Di & Tom Booth (Faldingworth Live), Mike & Sue Dewsbury & The Lincolnshire Folk Committee, Liam Robinson Lincolnshire All Stars Ceilidh Band, Faldingworth Memorial Hall Committee and Tom Lane and Heritage Lincolnshire (CD artwork) and all the artists on the CD, for their voluntary contributions to this event.

How exciting! An ex-Prime Minister enters the folk arena? do you think he's one of us, or the 1954 lot?

Very enterprising. Perhaps he'll bring Maggie along to accompany him on spoons!

What an excellent day. Faldingworth Live and Lincolnshire Folk managed to raise in the region of £450 for Macmillan In Lincolnshire. Will do a proper check tomorrow.
Thank you to all the people that worked so hard to make this a success and to all the people that came along and dipped into their pockets.

Will do more comment's tomorrow, when I am not so tired.
