We filled the Trades and Labour Club with over 250 people. Thanks to all artists and helpers. See Facebook page : Spanish Civil War 75th for pics etc. Headliners Roy Bailey, Dave Burland, Fay Hield, Sylvia Needham and keith Kendrick and many more did a superb job and it ran from 7.30 to 11.30 pm. A great show of solidarity and a great night out. On Saturday the English Defence league were out on the streets and the antifascists too at the same time as the Manchester memorial to the International Brigaders in the Town Hall so the cause is still relevant today! No Pasaran! |
