20 Sep 99 - 12:50 AM (#115648) Subject: Pub in Killarney - Circa 1918 From: John in Brisbane A friend is about to visit Ireland and is trying to match a photo of a number of Australian troops seated on a horse drawn dray outside a pub in Killarney about the time of the end of WW!. The full title of the pub is obscured but the title appears to be ---ARK HOTEL. Kerry is probably capable of drinking his way through a few counties, but only has a few days available. If anyone can provide some local knowledge he would be very pleased, as he wants to provide a laminated photo to the current licensee - if it still exists. Regards, John. |

If he brings the photo into the tourist office there, they may well be able to identify it.
