27 Jul 11 - 10:28 PM (#3197007) Subject: RE: From Peter Yarrow (Peter, Paul & Mary) From: Big Ballad Singer From Mr. DeChristopher's statement before at his sentencing: "In these times of a morally bankrupt government that has sold out its principles, this is what patriotism looks like. With countless lives on the line, this is what love looks like, and it will only grow. The choice you are making today is what side are you on." Those are some inspiring and utterly brilliant words. |

28 Jul 11 - 12:00 PM (#3197320) Subject: RE: From Peter Yarrow (Peter, Paul & Mary) From: Donuel THE jUDGE SAID "Since you bid as a protester, you are going to jail." So, if a bidder did it our of criminal fraud, he would not go to jail. Or if an oil company decided not to pay, they would not go to jail. But since Tim bid as a protest, he is getting the book thrown at him. |

28 Jul 11 - 09:42 PM (#3197634) Subject: RE: From Peter Yarrow (Peter, Paul & Mary) From: Desert Dancer I value what he did and why he did it, but, Donuel, he was given a 2-year, $10,000 sentence, instead of the 10-year, $1,000,000 sentence that the prosecutor wanted him to have. So, no, he did not have the book thrown at him.
