Another example of technology & automation screwinhg people out of a job.

Hey, who the fu$k needs interaction with real prople when you can "interact"[sic] with a machine.

Next they'll be implanting cybernetic devices directly in peoples' brains & thus eliminate the drudgery of hauling ridiculous overpriced electronic toys around.

Congress, except for the REAL workers: secretaries and such. NOT Administrative Assistants, etc.

No need to smash 'em, Ned - just be better if people didn't worship 'em & give 'em precedence over human beings.

(By the by, are ye from Anstey, by any chance?)

I would not shed a tear if some art meant to offend and shock was not supported...or art that is just plain stupid..like some bridge art they wanted to do in Portland where bicycles rolling over a grate..on a bridge..in the rain and ice...would play some dumb tune. I would rather fund a health clinic, paint it pink and purple and call it art.

Some famous artists suggested that all publicly funded art should be voted on by the public. He did admit that it would end up being mostly leaping dolphins but oh well. THey are paying for it. mg
