Peter's songs were a great influence in my choice of material in the 70s and 80s and I still play them today (for which Peter is very grateful!) The Red Lion is on the A5209 about ten minutes from J27 on the M6. We have a good sized upstairs room and the pub sells decent cask beer (always a plus point!) and has a good menu if you want a bite to eat beforehand.
