My dear friend Pat (age 75) had both knees done at the same time, and yes it was painful and she also got terrible constipation with the strong pain-killers. However, now she whizzes about on those knees, totally pain-free and as active as anything. She's never regretted it. Thinking of you and sending good wishes! Eliza. |

14 Feb 12 - 03:33 PM (#3308527) Subject: RE: BS: knee Surgery From: Louie Roy Thanks all of you for your encouragement and advice.i knew that there were quite a few mudcatters that over the years have had knee surgery and it nice that you are willing to share your recovery.Maybe i'm hoping for miracles instead of waiting for the natural healing process and the PT treatments to run the course.Actual it has only been 30 days since I had the second surgery and I do get PT treatments 2 times a week and they do help.The PT person told me last thursday he had my knee back to 115% which he thought was excellent |

Practice them, these are skills you may someday need. |
