Not like they're not available on the internet, this is more a request for why isn't this gem already in the Trad?

Start a fight why dontcha?

Trad has a specific meaning, and if the author is known, named or even mentioned, that's it for the whole fuckin' thing.

How's the move and are things ok?

John is not a Rhodes Scholar as far as I know, but he certainly should be. Question Dick. Is a song decided to be placed on Trad. by how many folks like the song.
Seriously. I'm stumped. I personally think that all of his songs should be there. But that is because I like him I guess.

SOUR GRAPES
As recorded by John Prine on "Diamonds in the Rough" (1972)

I don't care if the sun don't shine,
But it better or people will wonder;
And I don't mind if it ever quits rainin',
'Cept the kids are 'fraid o' the thunder.

CHORUS: Say sour grapes.
You can laugh and stare.
Say sour grapes,
But I don't care.

I couldn't care less if I didn't have a friend,
'Cept people would say I was crazy.
I wouldn't work 'cause I don't need money,
'Cept the same folks would say I was lazy.

Couldn't care less if she never come back.
I's gonna leave her anyway;
And all the good times that we shared,
Don't mean a thing today.
