She produced a fabulous record at the start of the seventies called Just Another Diamond Day and then vanished completely from the scene. If I remember rightly she was part of the Incredible String Band entourage for a while and had Robin Williamson and various bits of Fairport guesting on her album. From: GUEST,Mark Coyle HI Vashti re-emerged about five years ago, playing live with Piano Magic and on a track of theirs. She also did a track with Devendra Barnhart who has been a big promoter of hers. Over the last few years she has recorded a new album produced by Max Richter called 'Lookaftering' which has just been released. It's a good album but not quite as strong as the first. cheers Mark |
