The audience is ages 6-12, the venue is a world cultures museum. I've started pulling together the essentials: Bling Blang Mail Myself to You Dry Bed Why Oh Why and of course, This Land We will not limit ourselves to Woody but he needs to dominate the program. We will also probably do a bunch of our silly standards: Maple Sweet Eddystone Light Washington @ Valley Forge What else would be essential for that age group, given the time limitation? |

Before I do the song for children, I get them to practice making the engine noises (for the chorus) and the honking horn sounds. Then they'll be ready to join in at the appropriate parts in the song. Listening to the BBC host with him is hilarious. It's on the Woody At 100 box set. |
