Any advice or suggestions about contacts and personages would be most appreciated. |

The name of the talk was "On Holy Ground." The members of the Klezmatics immersed themselves in Woody's Jewish-orieneted writings and set many of them to music. It's too bad Moe Asch and Harold Leventhal have passed away. They would have been good to talk to. You might want to talk to Michael Asch -- the son of Moe Asch of Folkways Records. Last time I saw Michael he was a proferssor in Edmonton. I think he may be retired now. |
