Steve Suffet: new digital album coming

Subject: Steve Suffet: new digital album coming
From: Suffet

Greetings from New York City:

For the past seven months I have been working on a new digital album that I hope to release before the end of the current year, 2012. I am calling it Folksinger's Fancy, and just over half of the approximately twenty songs will be my own compositions written in traditional style, sometimes borrowing part of the melody and/or text from traditional sources. The remainder will actual be traditional songs which I have adapted to my own style.

If you would like to hear a preview, please click here and you will land on a Sound Cloud page where you can listen to six of the original compositions on-line. Although I have already completed the recording, editing, and mixing, I can still make adjustments before the final mastering, so please let me know what you think.

Thanks.

Greetings from New York City!

After more than a year in the works, my new digital album Folksinger's Fancy is finally available from CD Baby. You get 18 songs for a mere $9.99. Individual songs are 99ยข each. Please click here for more information.

By the way, here is a big THANK YOU to everyone who helped and who offered to help. I appreciate your input, advice, and support.

One final note: In addition to Folksinger's Fancy, I just released a digital single of Anne Price and myself singing Si Kahn's Aragon Mill as a duet. I decided not to include it on the album because I paid Si's publisher the royalties in advance for only a limited number of digital downloads, and once that limit is reached I will have to halt sales or else pay again. Yes, I should of thought of that hassle before making the recording. Anyway, here is a link to where you can find complete information about the single. Please check it out.

Thanks.
