Where is David Holt?

I love the"Hairyman" book! David Holt is still active on the storytelling circuit as well as regular radio appearances.

Hey Kendall,

David is definitely still around. Here is his website. He gave the keynote address at the Southeast regional Folk Alliance conference in 2011 and talked mostly about all the old time banjo players (many who were quite obscure) that he had encountered back in the 60s and 70s.

He's a very cool guy.

"Hairyman" is a track on this album. He was in fine voice at the Storytelling Festival this year in Jonesboro. From the look of his tour list, he doesn't come north of the Mason-Dixon line. ;-(
