Remember Jim Kweskin of jug band fame? He'll be doing a solo gig at Club Passim in Cambridge, Ma. tonight. Jim is much more versatle than those jug band records might suggest. If you live elswhere you can catch the concert on line for a nominal fee at Concert Window.

I believe I saw him in that room once or twice. But it was the Club 47 then. I've never been in Passim.

Elmore-

Perhaps a little more advance warning next time around if he's re-scheduled.

Charley: Will do. I watched John Hammond from a club Called One Longfellow Square in Portland, Me. instead. He's a uniquely gifted blues performer, whom I hadn't seen in decades. Forgot how good he was.

John Hammond was excellent Saturday night! I've seen Jim Kweskin with Geoff Muldaur last year at Bull Run in Shirley, awesome. Will have to catch him some other time. Glad that John Hammond was showing on Saturday, it was a quandary which one to watch so Jim cancelling solved that problem for us.

Not sure whether the concert, or just the on line presentation was cancelled, Barbara. Oh well, John Hammond certainly made up for it.

One Longfellow Square in Portland, Me, is a great venue. That's about 40 minutes from where I live.
