BS: Bill D's beer collection

Here are the first images from my project to photograph my various beer bottles & 'some' cans as I get rid of them to reclaim SPACE! They start with US types and at 21 (if you see photo numbers) they go to English ones. (I'll see how labeling of pics works, and may edit them to search more easily)

Bunch of beer, mostly 24 at a time.

Next will be Scottish & Welsh, then into Belgian, Canadian, German...etc. I suppose this is maybe 1/4-1/3 of them.

(I find that if I right-click on a pic and select 'open', I can get a larger image)

Clicking Open doesn't seem to open the bottle.
My old laptop used to say Opening Port but I could never find where it kept it

Did I mention that we have a new brewery just a few miles away from us? A few more Welsh bottles for your collection due in the Fall....

Love your car too.

How many beers do you need to drink in order to drive it?

Mark

That car was called "Body by Escher"... I can't claim it.

Thanks for sharing your pix, Bill. I enjoyed seeing all the colors and patterns. You must have traveled a lot to sample so many different kinds of beer.

Travel? Not really... I live near Wash. D.C., where there are many, many beer outlets and stuff is imported. At any one time I can get 50-200 brands in various outlets. If I drank a lot, my collection could easily be 2000-3000. Now that I have choices, I tend to buy many of the same types over & over, rather than just building totals.

Several nice people have brought me good samples from the UK, N. Zealand, Canada, and others look locally for interesting brands at Xmas & birthdays...

My nephew likes to collect full bottles, but he doesn't want to pay for beer that just sits there, so he drinks it and then puts it back in the bottle.

I've suspected that of several breweries....
