I was very impressed; it was a little scary because of the somberness of all the adults. But I don't remember wondering about our democratic form of government. December and January were mild, then we were hit by a series of snowstorms which attacted national attention, they were so bad. One day in late March, it was 83 on a Thursday (a record) and it was trying to snow the next Tuesday. However, things are looking up. The taxes are done and my snow peas are coming up. My tomato seedlings are growing under fluorescent lights, and as long as that doesn't attract the attention of the DEA, we'll be all right. |
