Saturday sessions in Welshpool, Powys.

Every Saturday afternoon, 2 till 4, there's an open acoustic session in the market village, under the town hall in Welshpool. There's no beer, I'm afraid, but tea, coffee and cake available. Make yourself known to me with the secret password for a free cuppa. Those Midlanders passing through on the way to the coast can stop for an hour or two, musicians and audience welcome.

Nobody visiting mid-Wales, then?

is there a post code?
is this a summer thing?

Is the last Thurs session in the Grapes still buzzing?

FWIW Stroud Farmers' Market always has music. It is the best Farmers' Market around, famed even, and I see three or four different music sets in the immediate area. And probably another couple round town.

As long as it's warm enough to play, we play, Mr Red. Not sure of the postcode, but it's an SY for Shrewsbury. No idea about the Grapes, but we had a great session this afternoon.

Yes, the Market hall has been a bit chilly of late, but it's warming up nicely now that spring's on it's way. It may not be very warm, but the acoustics are amazing!!!!
