Really looking forward to this, not long now!!

Unfortunately we missed last year so I'm not up to date on things at the Black Bank, but there's no mention of a MudGather this time, are we having one?

The Black Bank is listed on the website as a festival venue, so hopefully yes!

I've just been looking at the Met Office weather forecast for the next month or so - there seems to be quite a lot more rain coming until the second week of November, but I'm hoping we won't have to swim from the rugby club again this year.....

Hot off the press, just heard that there WILL be a MudGather!

Saturday 30th November at the Old Black Bank as usual, 3-5pm!

So, who's coming? Haven't done a MudRaffle for ages, shall we have one??? Might be good to raise a few £££'s for the MudCat!

Count me in, MGAS. Raffle sounds good, do you need prizes?

Yes indeed David, prizes would be good if people can bring something with them to the Gather. And chocolate of course!!

Had to change my plans as Richard will be going to some rugby match at Twickenham, so I'm only coming up on the Saturday morning & staying overnight at the Travelodge. So, if you don't see me on the Friday, don't worry...

Bedworth Folk Festival Update:

Our outline programme is now on the web site, also we are delighted to add the wonderful GEORGE PAPAVGERIS to our Sunday guest list!
Saturday evening concert will see the last performance for some time of THE JOHN RICHARDS BAND so that is certain to be a bit special.
Latest news, info, full running order (and of course tickets!) are available from the web site www.bedworth-festival.info

Thanks for your time.

Malc.

All is looking good, great programme!!

Hope we'll have a few friends at the MudGather. Perhaps someone in the Facebook Mudcat group could give Catters a nudge there please?

Well Kitty and Derek, since I've no rostered duties again this year I should be free to get down to Bedworth early on the Friday and come & support you at the Black Bank. Looking forward to the weekend, always one of the best fests of the calendar.
Cheers!

Will be good to see everyone & get a 'Folk Fix' even if I'm only there for Saturday this year. Sorry I won't get to your session Kitty!

Will be bringing a few raffle prizes just in case we feel like doing a MudRaffle, but I won't worry if the Gather doesn't feel like it. Would be good to raise a few £££'s for the MudCat though. My monthly direct debit doesn't help a great deal, but every penny counts.

So, safe journeys everyone, enjoy Bedworth & see you on Saturday at the Black Bank, 3-5pm. Bring chocolate & songs!

Well done to Malc and the team for another fabulous Bedworth and for getting the 'weather gods' onside! Couldn't stay very long this time but wouldn't have missed it for the world. Many thanks to Malc, Gill and all the hard-working volunteers for all the hard work they put in to keep this lovely festival going!!

The pain in my hand (seeing Doctor on Tuesday) has had me avoiding the keyboard this week, so apologies for the delay in posting.

Many thanks too, to all the Catters (and Guests) who came along to the MudGather, sang, played, chatted, brought and ate chocolate and contributed prizes and bought raffle tickets. We raised £27 for the MudCat which I'll be transferring to Friends of the MudCat - see this Permathread!
