Another possible Mudcat book...

Well, we've had banjo jokes, drummer jokes, out of the mouths etc., gloating/moaning about kids, ludricous [how do you spell it - it doesn't look right!!] sights; why don't we publish a book of jokes and silly stories?? They sell like mad; a few key personal with dtp facilities around the world could handle the distribution, and ... more funds for the forum. What do you lot think? Give me the go-ahead and I'll start compiling right way.

Nice idea, Freddie, but I know, I for one, posted jokes I got from other sites, way back when we had one on bagpipes, I think. So...we'd have to check the source of whatever people posted, first, to make sure of the copyright issue.

Blimey, that was quick, Kat. Take your point... but how do you check for copyright on jokes, when they seem to got the round so quickly?

Hey, this is fun! I didn't realise how easy it was to have an actual conversation with people on this thing if you happen to be logged on at the same time. Oops - threadcreep strikes... by the way, the collective nouns would be another good one to go in.
