From: Freddie Fox Well, we've had banjo jokes, drummer jokes, out of the mouths etc., gloating/moaning about kids, ludricous [how do you spell it - it doesn't look right!!] sights; why don't we publish a book of jokes and silly stories?? They sell like mad; a few key personal with dtp facilities around the world could handle the distribution, and ... more funds for the forum. What do you lot think? Give me the go-ahead and I'll start compiling right way. |

From: katlaughing Nice idea, Freddie, but I know, I for one, posted jokes I got from other sites, way back when we had one on bagpipes, I think. So...we'd have to check the source of whatever people posted, first, to make sure of the copyright issue. |

I didn't realise how easy it was to have an actual conversation with people on this thing if you happen to be logged on at the same time. Oops - threadcreep strikes... by the way, the collective nouns would be another good one to go in. |
