One of the things I saw that might be of interest to 'Catters was a booth from Reverb.com. They have built a site for musical instrument and gear: "Reverb offers the best variety of tools to buy & sell gear, and the lowest listing fees of any major site. As musicians and gear lovers, we work to foster a community and make Reverb the best place to purchase music gear online." Listings can be straight sales or auctions. Why Reverb? FAQ The blog on the site is called the GAS can. ;-) Not a substitute for narrow sites like Banjo Hangout or Mandolin Cafe, but it looks like a good idea to me, if it grows enough. ~ Becky in Long Beach |
