I like it. For the first time I can see what it is supposed to be.

Noticed it this morning when I was looking for a 'Captain Brennan' song. The Outlaw of The Hill. Didn't find it but got close.

All that's old is new again.

Al, The Furrow Collective sing The Outlaw of the Hill on their beautiful new CD At Our Next Meeting. The lyrics can be found in Michael Hogan's Lays and Legends of Thomond

Thanks guest....it was the CD that sent me investigating....found the Thomond verses but Alasdair has more. No problem to get them from the CD tho. Beautiful song, beautiful album.Got the bones of a guitar arrangement sorted and will now work on putting it all together.
If I could only lose this cough.

I noticed the new logo this morning - a great improvement! I used to do my best not to see the old one (like one does with onscreen advertisements).

It says "Click me" but I want to know what it does before I do that. Any ideas?

Doug, clicking on it leads to the information and links for:
"mudcat.org is financed, published, moderated and hosted by Max, Dick and all their friends. The various ways in which you could contribute to the preservation and appreciation of traditional musics and the longevity, stability and growth of mudcat.org are below."

A very good result for those who support Max's wonderful playground.

The fiddling catfish has been around for a long time, but the banjo catfish has taken precedence most of the time. In view of a recent downturn in the popularity of the banjo after it was mentioned in one of the religion threads, the fiddlin' 'cat came to the forefront.

The logo should be on a t-shirt or sweatshirt, not the banjo.

Clicking gets you to outdated information. Dick and I (and CAMSCO) have moved from that address. Dick's email and the 800 number still work. We live in a retirement community in Pennsylvania.

There are no more tee shirts for sale, at least in the US - Bill Sables may have some left in the UK. We had not sold any tee shirts in several years, so we decided not to reorder them.
