sorry -temper got the better of me when I saw all those threads about this. that comment was rude and unworthy.

Mudcat was having issues with multiple posts. Here's a hint: when 11 threads are started at exactly the same time, the poster likely didn't do it on purpose.

With regard to the subject, I can't find any mention of a 'production', although that doesn't really mean much. I know of the song, though.

Perhaps the reference is to the production of "In Flanders Fields"? C, B & S took part in the Seeds of Peace concerts in 2002 and 2004, and according to their website, are doing further concerts entitled "In Flanders Fields" this year, being, of course the centenary of the outbreak of WW1.
Oh, and at risk of being rude (what me?), Guest might have found all this if he/she had got the right spelling for Coope. (It has been corrected in the thread title and after Big Al's second post). Just Google (as I did) Standing in Line Coope Boyes and Simpson, and there it all is.
All sounds very interesting anyway.

'Standing In Line' is a Lester Simpson solo effort, with accompanists not as part of CBS. I have the CD in front of me. First produced in 2003, and then at Passendale in 2004, it was also put on at a Derby Folk Festival a few years ago. Suggest you try Lester direct for details.

"As you might expect given Coope Boyes & Simpson's long association with music about and of the First War, this year sees a number of performances of the trio's own words and music production, In Flanders Fields, themed concerts and work with Michael Morpurgo in Private Peaceful and The Best Christmas Present in the World.

"Since our earliest days with Peace Concerts Passendale, we've taken the view that the best way to commemorate wars is to work to avoid them. At concerts in Strijtem, Shepley, Lowdham, Cheltenham, Derby and Ieper, we'll keep trying…"

The song 'Standing in Line' is also included in Philip Pullman/CBS performances of 'Private Peaceful'. It's included in both live performances and on the CD.
