22 Jun 14 - 11:12 AM (#3635592) Subject: bubblyrat 9 months after hospital From: bubblyrat At last !! Nine months after leaving Reading Hospital, I have finally been "discharged" . This follows long months of blood tests,scans,various BP medications,X-rays , demeaning and embarrassing "invasive procedures " and many visits to Tewkesbury and Cheltenham Hospitals . But , finally, my kidney function is back to normal ! My right leg still looks like something from a horror movie, but at least now I can walk without crutches or a walking-stick. The only down side is that I have to wear a "support stocking " (very sexy !). |
