I am trying to find out if the first Folkways release used the discs, or stampers originally released on SIGNET FL 5401 (I assume this was Peggy's label, based in Boston), and if the Folkways notes mentioned the original Signet release. If 2049 is indicated, you have a later pressing. If it is only FP-49, look at the disc in the space between the grooves and labels - there will be some writing there, probably FP 49A and FP 49B, but there may also be some other faint stamped information viz E4-KL-5907, E4-KL-5908 OR those markings may be crossed out.
