This weekend, Sat 19th is The Woolcombers Festival (Blaize patron Saint of trade) with Bands playing some sort of music, probably not folk. Can't find a programme though nor a website for the Bishop. |

A lot of clubs and sessions dwindle in Late July & August. First week in August Sidmouth, next week Whitby. School holidays. Costa del Packet. Why am I not surprised? There is a Cajun Festival in the early part of the year. Mamou anyone? |

Guest you seem very down about finding places for folking but it is not all that bad if you get hold of the Folk Roundabout magazine it lists something like a hundred clubs in the north east.
