The club (and The Beacon Hotel) has been run by two great folk music enthusiasts and talented performers, Di & John Cullen. They will be retiring and are selling the business. A shame as it was a delightful session....usually only 7 or 8 people there but that meant your turn came round several times! I used to go there after Military Fitness, arriving sweaty and filthy and changing in the toilets before showing my face in the blue room! |
