Berlin had a very nice Oktoberfest when I lived there in 1972-73, but it was in September. By October, it's too dark and too cold for outdoor festivals. -Joe- |

From: bubblyrat I lived in Bielefeld (Westphalia) where I saw,at various venues,artistes such as Flook and Alan Wells .We ( I won't say who !) used to "busk" a lot at Hannover station.English/Scottish/Irish folk is BIG in Germany ( they were nuts about "Silly Wizard") ; I can't see Frankfurt and Berlin being any different !! |
