07 Dec 14 - 07:37 AM (#3683259) Subject: RE: Dougie MacLean's Instrument Stolen From: Noreen The information with the post on Dougie's facebook timeline is as below: My precious 1930's Martin tenor (4 stringed) guitar was stolen from my home in Butterstone on Friday Night. If you see it anywhere or have any details that may be helpful contact me on here or email Jenny on admin@butterstone.com. These guitars are rare in Scotland so it should be easily identified. Cheers!! However, the original post is from 3rd February, with a few posts since then. Shares took off on 5th December for some reason- with no word from Dougie as to whether it is still missing or not. If it is still missing, it could be anywhere- so perhaps not the "live issue" it appears. Will try to find out more. |

23 Jul 17 - 07:42 AM (#3867839) Subject: RE: Dougie MacLean's Instrument Stolen From: Jack Campin He did have other instruments last time I saw him play (which was a very long time ago). If he hasn't got it back yet, maybe there's a didgeridoo album in the works. |
23 Jul 17 - 02:07 PM (#3867887) Subject: RE: Dougie MacLean's Instrument Stolen From: GUEST,kenny Actually, there is a new "album in the works". It probably won't have didgeridoo on it. As far as I know, Dougie never did get the tenor guitar back, so it remains as "stolen property". |
