I was told by the Organiser of Stroud Ceilidhs who went to somewhere in Ireland for a week of Set Dancing that if you expect everyone to be fluent and on the ball, it is much like it is in the UK - a mix of abilities. We are lucky in Gloucestershire in having a practice twice a month and a Sunday afternoon monthly with a good crowd. In Wooton Under Edge. Then Bristol every Sunday.
