I am (probably) going to be in the Crediton area for a few days over the Easter holidays and am wondering if there are any sessions going on that I could get to?

Thanks, Mr Red, looks like there might be one or two options, depending on which dates we end up going down.

Mr Red's list has a few entries, mainly some of the rather peripatetic music sessions around Exeter, which have died or moved on. For a more up to date list try Flaxey Green , either their diary dates or the lists of sessions and clubs.

I'll probably be at Copplestone (5 miles from Crediton - last Tuesday of March); in Sticklepath for the singaround on Easter Sunday (20 miles but worth the trip if only for the pub – but wrap up well it's freezing there!) and in Sandford (2 miles) the following Tuesday. The second Sunday singaround in Bow (8 miles) won't be happening in April as they'll be in Topsham putting on their "Great War Presentation ".

All lists are behind the curve.
FWIW the Exeter Uni Folk Soc session listed by Steve is currently TBA (only a couple of weeks ago at IVFDF - I wus there, and looking for updates).

Hence the advice to ring ahead. I would trust the Pennymoor singaround to be still going, Clare Penny has a website also listing what sessions she goes to and runs in some cases.
