Yeah I woke up this morning Lord knows I woke up yesterday morning too! If I wake up tomorrow morning, That'll be three days in a row!" Years after I last heard Derek do this, I injected it as a humorous interlude into a brief pause in a session in Bristol, and after the laughter died down a girl there said she thought there was more of the song than that. I asked her if she could find out, but nothing ever came of it. But reminded of that just now in these days of the internet, can anyone here help? TIA |

A roadside sign for the local paper read "Famous blues singer dies" and there were thought bubbles coming from the coffin. In the top bubble were the words "Apparently I didn't wake up this morning!" |
