I'm playing banjo tunes with a hammered dulcimer player and he likes the dots. Thanks. |

I thought he had a more recent book, but I couldn't find it. The title says "Bluegrass," but most of the songs also fit into the Old Time genre. It has basic melody notation, chords, and lyrics. I mostly learn by ear but it looks like it would be a great reference source. Thanks, BanjoRay and thanks all. I did find a nice selection at abbamoses.com and there's a 2 vol. selection called "Old Time Tunes For Fiddle and Mandolin" which is available as shareware. |
