"Very Unfortunate Man" is the tale of a young lawyer who marries a weatlthy old maid for money, not love, then looks on in shock and amazement as she literally "goes to pieces" before her vanity mirror on their wedding night. A funny song and fun to sing, it might keep your grandchildren amused until you do find the tune you're looking for. (I'm looking forward to seeing that one, too!) |

Hung up her leg in the corner, put her .. on the wall, ...what was left of poor Sadie, after the ball. He probably wouldn't have thought to sing it for us kids, but we had those Mitch Miller albums. |
