I never get tired of the music. All these years and I can still listen to him like today and enjoy it as much as I first heard him a million years ago

I could listen to blue eyes crying in the rain 24 7 and never get tired of it

And all the while that hole in his old Martin gets bigger... :-)

Crazy!

That's not entirely true, is it?

But massive respect to the man.

If his singing weren't enough, there is his songwriting. Writing "Crazy" and getting it sung by Patsy Cline? How good does it get?

Saw him on his first British trip, well impressed. Six months or so later, opened for him and Hank Snow at the Liverpool Empire & London Palladium.
Rececently bought his " Django & Jimmie " cd which he did with the late, much- loved and missed Merle Haggard.
He's one of the few great country singers left.

The Red-Headed Stranger is "the last man standing" in the hallowed
halls of country music legends (Cash, Haggard, Jennings....).

Roll Me Up and Smoke Me When I Die.
