12 Feb 17 - 06:44 PM (#3838524) Subject: DINGLE REGATTA From: The Sandman the common 3 part version was composed by Seán Ó Riada, or perhaps was two different tunes amalgamated, can anyone confirm that this tune was in fact a bastardisation by this "composer". Musicians from Sliabh Luchra seem reluctant to play this COMPOSITION, but prefer the more subtle 2 part version. |
