They're a small, very friendly mixed side dancing mainly Cotswold with some Border, and are based in Cononley, which is about 3 miles south of Skipton in North Yorkshire. I am however a very poor musician trying to improve on both Anglo concertina and piano accordion. Funnily enough been practising a couple of Cotswold jigs of late - Constant Billy and Black Joke. I would love to join in some practise but doubt very much if I could play 'out' for a long time yet. The other question is would the team be willing to have someone practise possibly at their expense! Any good? Cheers DtG |
