I've just started reading the Paul Clayton book ... absolutely fascinating. IT meshes with so many tales I heard of those times as well as some of my own personal experiences. Any serious folkie needs to read this book.

Obviously it was written by a very knowledgeable insider. The overview that Stew has written is just a tease ... this should be required reading for any folksinger over 20 years of age. bob(deckman)nelson

Here's a link to the book's publisher - gee, the price has gone up significantly. Glad I got mine when I did.
