22 May 17 - 08:43 PM (#3856632) Subject: RE: new NW HOOT June/July 2017 PNW Folklore From: Deckman I've just started reading the Paul Clayton book ... absolutely fascinating. IT meshes with so many tales I heard of those times as well as some of my own personal experiences. Any serious folkie needs to read this book. Obviously it was written by a very knowledgeable insider. The overview that Stew has written is just a tease ... this should be required reading for any folksinger over 20 years of age. bob(deckman)nelson |
