Last night (Ep3 had cajun music and Miss.John Hurt. Clips too short of course. Next week June 11 2017 Final Ep.4 will feature modern musicians playing same tunes on same vintage equipment with inevitable CD to follow. RtS |

He virtually vanished, until many years later he was rediscovered, by a fan listening to a record mentioning his home town. He just seemed to radiate goodness somehow. I agree, we need an entire programme on each genre and artist. |

Elton John seemed to be one. In my humble opinion it was ghastly. I wish I'd met Mississippi John Hurt. He was absolutely adorable. |

I agree the originals are best but it might be interesting to see how modern musicians cope with primitive equipment. Elton not one of my faves (but I enjoyed Crocodile Rock). RtS |
