I used to meet up with Declan nearly every year at the Willie Clancy week, and was in sessions with him just 3 weeks ago. I'm very sad to hear this news, and know several people in Scotland who will miss him too. Willie Week won't be the same without him. A fine singer with a great, mischievous sense of humour. RIP, Declan. |
