There is a children's song, which might be a children's book set to music, along the lines of 'five little duck(ling)s went over the hill, only four came back' and it goes through the last duckling going up and not coming down; then something about the mama duck (don't remember if she was just distraught or went looking), then they all came back. Does anyone know this? Thanks! |

If you need help refreshing your cookie, let me know. joe@mudcat.org Five little ducks went out to play, Over the hills and far away. The mother duck went quack, quack, quack, And four little ducks came running back. Five little ducks... four... three... two... One little duck went out to play, Over the hills and far away. The mother duck went quack, quack, quack, And no little ducks came running back. No little ducks went out to play, Over the hills and far away. The father duck went QUACK, QUACK, QUACK, And six little ducks came running back! There's also Six ittle Ducks, a different story. |
