Have also heard this and other such revolutionary stuff (The Bo'ness Rebels) from Ewan McVicar, who, I think, was there with the protesters back in the 60s. (right decade? - correct me if wrong!) |

The booklet you mention...now, I seem to recollect that .. was it a CND publication or by others?..and what was it called? Takes me back to the Aldermaston marches I was on.. and Committee of 100, and Action at RSGs. It all felt like we could do something practical. And I made lots of friends over the years too I actually learned a lot of songs in that period .. not all anti- nuclear but a lot of folksongs too - both British and American.. |
