Well-recorded and masterfully sung--but we can't figure out who this is! The listener heart recorded it from public radio broadcast in 1986 (I'm working to find out which station). If any music sleuths are intrigued (and would like to enjoy this singer's gorgeous voice), here's a partial mp3: https://www.dropbox.com/s/n8rxb7mh2zspxjk/HOPE.MP3?dl=0 It sounds a little bit like Chris Stuart (of Chris Stuart & Backcountry) to me...I'm continuing to dig. Many thanks in advance for your thoughts! All the best, Sheila Shigley Simply Folk Wisconsin Public Radio |
