Apparently, this record had the sound of a baby crying on it which was considered controversial at the time and might have even got it banned by the BBC. ANy help much appreciated. |

I think Keberoxu may be right, that it could be "Don't Sell Daddy Any More Whiskey," although I couldn't find a version with the words you specify. Take a look at the threads I've crosslinked above, and see if any of them have a song like the one you're looking for. I'm not an expert but the context of the song seems to have little to do with what you said. Not too helpful, I know, but I wouldn't look specifically for any signposts that suggest "Nancy Whiskey". |
