In a custom case. An amazing sound.C G D A . It's around 20 years old and has been loved like a baby. New condition, Appraised at around £500, Am selling for £375. And a Fylde Octavius Bouzuki, In original hard Case. Mandolin tuning G D A E. Again £375. Both instruments in as new condition. I'm just not sure where would be the best place to advertise them. If anyone has any ideas. I would be most grateful. I am based in south west Ireland. Near to Killarney but will be visiting UK in the next few weeks. Thanks in advance John |

29 Sep 19 - 06:17 PM (#4011128) Subject: RE: Fylde instruments From: Jack Campin I thought Fylde instruments were usually worth more than that? Are these budget models? While we're on bouzoukis - who got Alec Finn's trichordo? |

30 Sep 19 - 01:58 PM (#4011245) Subject: RE: Fylde instruments From: GUEST,freespirit1 Hi Jack not budget instruments. lovingly cared for instruments that we have had for some 20 years. Made for us by Roger at fylde guitars and well treasured and loved instruments. Mostly used for recording, and very rarely gigged. Having to downsize, that's why they are up for sale. Also have a couple of fylde guitars, goodfellow and orsino that may be coming on the market soon. It's a bit like selling your children! All the best John |

We had a great afternoon in a bar in Kenmare where we talked like very old friends for a couple of hours, played a couple of songs AND with any luck John got a booking out of it. Once again John,Thank you. "Shorty" will be cherished!! |
