Camping in the New Forrest near Brokenhurst Monday to Saturday next week. I'll take my fiddle if anything is happening in the area.
Help much appreciated.
FloraG.

Try the Acoustic Calendar for Wessex, look at Hampshire listings.

^^^^^ Folk Assoc South Hants (FASH) mentioned above

has an excellent map
Here it is centred on the New Forest.
NB open it in a browser, not 'maps'.

Hi FloraG - Ringwood folk club has an informal evening of songs, tunes and poems at Burley Church Hall on Tuesday. If you're prepared to venture a bit further south into Dorset, my other half is running the next Wimborne folk club evening at The Horns in Burts Hill, Colehill, Wimborne on Thursday - again, songs, tunes and poems all welcome!

Thanks all. I've always found it better to ask than rely on diaries as I've found in the past they might be dated/cancelled etc

why I put a datestamp on my entries. It reduces the likelihood of uncertainty - if the date looks old it is worth ringing ahead.

map.mister.red - not covering Hampshire.

Herga - a double thanks. While checking where the club was we found the route we planned to use to the camp site had a closed bridge so we can't go that way.
Hope to make the do - sounds just up our street - but can't promise with variable health.

Hi Flora - have a great time. Would have joined you had we known as we are free this week but just winterised the caravan last week.

It was a late booking Pete - between hospital appointments and the weather forecast. We ended up on one of 4 wide pitches that cost a lot more - only booking left - but it was really nice to see the winter colours. Good your feeling well ( ish ) .
We got to the Ringwood folk club in Burley - I think in our past we must have shared a geography teacher - and were told of a club in new Milton which we also made. Both clubs made us very welcome.
