Pete Seeger biog advice sought

Doing my usual mooch for bargains. I got a double album of Pete Seeger for less than four quid.

After a while, I thought I'd like to know a bit more than I knew about the bloke.
There are a bewildering number of biographies on Amazon. Has anyone read some of them? Can anyone recommend one as an absolutely ripping narrative? unputdownable if possible...

How Can I Keep from Singing, David King Dunaway. I have the 1981 original first edition, but there was a second edition in 2008.

I've read the Dunaway book a couple of times and while I didn't think it was particularly well-written I thought it was well-researched and so full of information about Seeger and his time that it's a worthwhile read, especially considering the subject.

Hey, Big Al   Your query sent me to Wikipedia. Nearly 140 footnotes—a browse there might point to other resources. Dunaway’s top of the bibliography... Seeger’s own Where have all the flowers gone : a musical autobiography ISBN 1-881322-10-6
might inform/amuse, if you can track it down. [My son saved a copy from the shredder at a fibre factory].

Plenty of cheapish copies available, Al.

Use www.booko.com.au to find the cheapest - both new and second-hand - available.

Dunaway also wrote "Singing out : an oral history of America's folk revivals" with Molly Beer, which is well worth reading.
