Well, I am not Gene Graham, but the Skillet Lickers are a group that I know a little about, so I am taking the liberty of telling what I know. If Gene has more information, I want to know, too! This first group are cassettes that are available on County, Old Homestead, and Rounder, respectively. Unfortunately, several other albums on vinyl are out of print, to the best of my knowledge, and you can't have mine. Now, as to where to get them~~none seem to be available from Camsco, but I am apologizing in advance if I just could not find them. You can probably get any of them from County or Rounder directly. I do recommend buying them from a local source if you are fortunate enough to have one. Help keep these good folks in business! Note, I did this by copy and paste, so I have no idea what it will look like after posting!

Thanks Dale and Gene for the imformation. I've spent many hours and have only been able to find a small amount of imformation. This band was one of my father favorite when he was growing up, and he had a tape of only a few recordings and that got destroyed. So thankyou for all your help. Sincerely S. Wolf

Just a plug for Camsco (Wally Macnow's a friend of mine); if he doesn't list a particular recording in the catalog, he can usually still get it for folks. He's a one-man operation, and can't carry a whole lot of inventory up front, but send him an e-mail with the name of the recording and label, and he can usually get it for you pretty quickly...

What is Camsco, who is Wally Macnow, and what is the e-mail to use? If (as it sounds) this is a place to try to get difficult-to-obtain recordings, I would be very interested in the info!

Thanks,

- RS
