Does anybody know the name of this melodeon tune please?

It's taken from the Hobgoblin website.

Many thanks,

Ed

Is that the "Theme Vannetaise"? I think it was taken from a Breton TV Soap Opera and is quite popular with border Morris teams.

It is not "Theme Vannetaise", in any of its variations.

I have played it at the Pannards sessions at Hebden Bridge but cannot remember the name. I will have the dots for it as we have the dots for everything we play there but I don't read the music. Sooner or later I will find out!

St Patrick's an dro.   Supposedly a traditional Breton tune, but some people suspect Carlos Nunez "remembered" it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cn9vbcZ0brg

Here is the music notation and ABC notation

St Patrick's an dro

Nice tune. I became fond of Breton music after buying Alan Stivell's harp albums way back in the '80's. I still listen to them regularly and still love them.

Also, our own Mudcatter Alan Day played a lot of this style of music in the band called Rosbif.
