It's a different page to the one I used to listen and has additional information. The LP appears to be called Valley of the Nire, by Nora Hogan, and includes the tracks Ballad of the Welsh Sisters, and Fare the well Lovely Deise, and presumably also the title song Valley of the Nire. I can't find it mentioned online via google or any the the main Irish music collections I searched. So I'm still hoping a mudcatter has more info. |

Although, according to the internet, Neil Hurley has recorded a song called "Valley of the Nire". I also note that "Fare the well Lovely Deise" might also be more familiar as Faretheewell Lovely Deise. |
