26 Aug 22 - 05:49 AM (#4151031) Subject: People's Song Bull - No Irish need apply From: MartinNail I see from Joe Offer's Index: People's Songs Bulletin thread that Pete Seeger published his version of 'No Irish need apply' in People's Song bulletin Vol III no 4 (1948). This doesn't seem to be online at The People’s Songs Archive, so does anyone know if this specific publication is available elsewhere, or how I might be able to get a scan of it? Obviously, this version has been published and recorded many times since then but what I am interested in is this initial publication. The closest I can come is in the Second People's Song Book, which may well be copied from the Bulletin. I'll post that version in the thread on the song (click). |
